I am writing this review because I have always loved Ikea but it came to my attention that some of the products sold by Ikea have several toxic materials in it. Online the material and care tab does not show all the compounds the product has, except of stainless steel and aluminum. But when in the store you read the label you might be surprised and disappointed the least! Please read the label and find out: This specific pot MIDDAGSMAT has: Formaldehyde (Very Toxic) Octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4) Decamethylcyclopentasiloxane (D5) Decamethylcyclohexasiloxane (D6) Not sure why Ikea is selling these products to anyone. Please be savvy but smart and read the labels and check what is in it. I was looking for a pot but not for toxics!
