When my order was delivered, several parts were missing or broken.
Here's what I did since then to contact IKEA customer service:
(1) I called IKEA customer service about ten times and was never able to get through to the appropriate department. Usually, I was disconnected after making the appropriate selection on the phone. Sometimes, I was at least read an automated message saying something like “because of a high volume of calls, we cannot take your call at this time. Good bye”
(2) I called the contractor who made the delivery (North American Logistics) several times but wasn't able to reach anyone.
(3) I wrote two detailed emails to customer service this form a week ago and have not received an answer (although an answer was promised within 48 or 72 hours).
I find this inability to reach IKEA about items I paid for but that were not delivered outrageous. I have given up hope that IKEA will be available or respond to my request.
