The Indows are a tight fit which is good. They can be difficult to remove, but I do not anticipate doing that often. I cannot open the louvers on my shutters without opening the shutters a little, but I knew that going in. They have eliminated my evil neighbor's rooster noise which was the primary objective, and I am delighted. The total noise reduction is great! Indows are a quality, effective product in my book.
