The window worked very well, decreasing the total decibles by around 12. We have older double pane windows in the bedroom, and with the insert it is much quieter. We did notice there was a little defect on the window on the right side which looks like 2 long drips. However, being on the screen side, you really can see it. Plus, it took so long to get the window and shipping the window back is not an option. Too difficult. Price is another negative factor, but overall quality was very good.
