Now I cannot write a review on cleaning/maintenance or anything to the longevity of the insert but as far as noise reduction is concerned this is a great product.
I live adjacent to a highway which causes a bit of noise in our bedroom. Since installing the inserts we have noticed a drastic reduction in highway noise.
