The 4 month wait was way to long , the fit was tight the thought of removing them to open a window for a cool Day etc is really not something you want to do just because of the work it take to get back in and seal just right,as far as the sound benefits yes it works except for the loud trucks and motorcycles. I live on a corner lot and my wife complained all the time about the noise since we installed the indow windows she no longer minds it
