It helped to muffle noise. It reduced the noise by about 10 dB. I live by a moderately busy street. The noise of cars is still annoying level. Indow insert doesn't seem to reduce the rumbling sound of loud cars and motorcycles much. The noise still wakes me up.
Without Indow inserts, we were not able to sleep in a bedroom. Now, at least, I can sleep in the bedroom. My wife still needs to sleep in a walk-in closet due to the noise.
