We have had the inserts in for about 4 weeks and have experienced some cold Iowa weather with windy conditions. These windows are North side of our home. In the past we placed an electric oil radiator in front of the windows to warm the cold air seeping in. With the "Indows" in place, no auxiliary heater is needed. So far, very happy. And, they look great!
