We wanted to give ourselves a few months with our new sound blocking inserts in order to provide a solid review. Our bow window let in road noise so that it was difficult to relax in our den. It was also very drafty. No more! Yes, we can still hear vehicles going by on the busy road we live on. But our guess is the noise is roughly 70% less. Many cars we can’t hear at all, others not so much. Engine braking remains an unpleasant thing but we didn’t expect the inserts to stop that noise - or all noise. So we’re very pleased! The side benefit that we didn’t anticipate being as nice as it is is the fact that they really stopped the air infiltration. Right now it’s -13F outside with strong winds. There is no movement of the curtains, no feeling of cold air flowing into the room (at least now from the window!!). They are high quality. Well made. Perfect fit. The entire experience from start to finish was just great. I’ve recommended them to our neighbors and other friends who are in the construction business. Honestly worth every penny. Our home is so much quieter, calmer…warmer. Thanks for a great product and customer focused business!
