Bought the windows to help with traffic noise that was echoing off a building. (I cannot hear it anywhere else in the house). The room has double hung drywall with Green Glue to reduce almost all sound transmission through the walls/ceiling. The rest of the noise comes from the windows. After installing the Acoustic Inserts, they did not do much to mitigate the noise level coming through the window. I was fairly disappointed.
