I bought two acoustic window inserts to test with the hope of reducing street noise and buying for my whole house if they worked. They cost around $700 each, and I was disappointed with the result. They muffle the sound at best, but it still feels like cars are driving straight through the room. For the price I was expecting more, and I was disappointed no one from the company followed up. Apart from that, the company seems genuine and the process of ordering, measuring and delivery was quick and sleek. The product is easy to install, looks very nice and fits in neatly with my Victorian window frames. Maybe if you need for weatherproofing this product will suit your needs more, but for noise reduction I would not recommend.
