I live off a very busy street. I got 4 Indows for the side of the house which faces the road. I knew I had a jalousie door which I can't do much about and a sliding glass door in the back which I did not include so I knew I wasn't going to be completely soundproof. I took decibel readings before and after installation and I am satisfied with the 25% noise reduction. It's the difference between sounding like you live 'on' the interstate vs. living 'near' the interstate.Jacki Vile
