They are everything I expected plus some. They were easy to install and provided better sound reduction than I expected. I live in a 139 year old house with original windows so they required heavy drapes in the winter to keep the drafts out. I felt like I lived in a cave. With indow inserts I can have lace curtains and let the sunshine in without freezing.
