9 days ago, I took my In Pulse CPR course with Rob in New Port Richey. He shared heartbreaking stories about students who had enrolled in the classes after a tragedy, and how his own wife had saved his life before! While all of those stories were inspiring, nothing hit home for me like it did today. This morning, my father had a heart attack. And while my family was blessed enough that we did not have to put our new skills to the test, I couldn’t help but feel a wave of relief and think of my class and my instructor Rob from just a week before. Had intervention been necessary, we would have been prepared. Ready and able to step in competently and confidently. You are truly doing angels’ work.
