As a rural upstate NY gardener I have had numerous Lyme infections and an episode of anaplasmosis. For the past three years Insect Shield clothing from socks to pants, shirts, hat and kerchief have become my summer uniform when outside. So far, so good. No tick borne diseases during that time - a record for me.
