“I have several sets of treated clothes. Both thosed purchased with insect shield and those I have sent in to be treated. All have performed as advertised. I wear them hunting, fishing, working in the woods and in my pollinator garden. I even have dress clothes treated for those summer outdoor events. I never have to worry about applying sprays or lotions to my skin.”

“My family and I used Insect Shield packs to prep the clothes that we would wear on our backpacking trip in Newfoundland. We hiked the Long Range Traverse. Black flies can be a big problem on this trail but we were bug free! Highly recommend.”

“My wife and I just purchased 45 acres of forest in the Adirondacks. We now regularly find ourselves among very tall grass, ferns, and trees of all kinds. We’ve equipped ourselves with a few sets of InsectShield clothing (shirts, pants, socks), as well as begin using Permethrin to treat our boots, hats, l and related items. We feel very confident sharing the outdoors with the deer, mice, and other carriers of ticks. InsectShield is a game changer.”

“I have hiked the Appalachian Trail from Harpers Ferry to Katahdin in my Insect Shield treated pants, shirt, and socks. So far I’ve been tick free. The southern half of my hike, Harpers Ferry to Springer Mountain starts in a few days. I know that my treated clothing will continue to keep the pests away.”

“My Insect Shield clothing is extremely helpful at dusk in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness when mosquitoes start swarming and I’m prepping the campsite for sleep. Also on buggy portages.”

“when my granddaughters visit our farm, I keep Insect Shield clothing their for them to put on before venturing out. They both have eczema and the clothing keeps them protected without worryng about irritating sprays to keep the ticks away.”

“I garden, I work in the woods, and since wearing Insect Shield clothing--socks, trousers, and shirts--I have not had a single tick bite in 9 years. The treated clothing also protects me from chiggers, flies, and mosquitos. Insect Shield provides a great product.”

“I spend a lot of time in the woods with my SAR dogs. My colleagues constantly complain about the ticks andother bugs. I'm rarely, if ever, bothered. I just continue to recommend Insect Shield.”

“I wear Insect Shield clothing whenever I hike in an area known to have ticks. I had Lyme Disease twice in the past, but no Lyme illness since I started wearing Insect Shield clothing.”

“I've worn Insect Shield clothing in the garden for several years. In that time, it has provided excellent protection against mosquitoes and ticks. I will say that I did have a tick crawling on a pair of Insect Shield pants one time that did not seem perturbed by the Insect Shield treatment -- but perhaps it would have been incapacitated from biting me if I had not removed it and sprayed it with a pesticide? I didn't wait to find out. Generally, however, I find that Insect Shield + picaridin-based insect repellent gives very good protection from biting insects.”
