In total 3 attempts were made to deliver the parcel. On each occasion the recipients made it clear that the intercom had broken at the communal front door of the block of flats where they lived and that the delivery person was not to assume that no one was in. The delivery drivers were given full instructions on how to alert the flat owner to the fact that they were trying to deliver the parcel including directions from the communal front door to the flat itself. They were also given the mobile phone number of the flat owner in order to call them when they arrived at the front door . They did not do so and consequently failed to deliver the parcel three times over three days. Eventually the recipient had to go to the depot and collect the parcel in person before it was sent back to me - the sender. All in all, an appalling trail of incompetence.
