I had to send a parcel containing magazines to the US. In the past we have used the Royal Mail to send individual magazines to the US and Canada. The quite unacceptable increase in the Royal Mail rates meant that we needed to find a cheaper alternative. We found one of our members in the US who would be prepared to use to local postal service to do the final part of the distribution. All we needed to find was someone to arrange the first leg of the distribution - that is to say move a parcel containing the magazines packed in bulk from the UK to the US.
