I have been using a Remstar CPAP machine for some years. I used to use the hard plastic mask as supplied by the manufacturer but when they stopped supplying the clear silicone shield separately I tried the Sleep Weaver Elan mask instead. I found this to be much more comfortable and it lasted longer and was cheaper.
The main drawbacks are the poor quality 'velcro' fastening on the head set and the slits in the cloth part which stretch. These are obviously made as cheaply as possible but this is not refleceted in the selling price.
