I think I have been a subscriber since 1992. Prior to that, I subscribed to various other financial publications. While those publications do a good job, I found the articles to be too "fluffy" for my needs. IBD drills down to what makes a good stock pick and how to interpret signals from the market and or stocks. I have retired and no longer get the daily edition, but the weekly edition meets my needs and keeps me abreast of what I want to know. Over the years IBD continuously improved the "readability".
