IQ option leverage system seems very reasonable to me. There is a high leverage level for currencies, as they are quite safe to trade, at least the most of them are.
The other, more volatile assets go with much lower leverage, and it’s understandable from the broker’s point of view. Nobody wants their clients to drain deposits and blame the broker for it.
It also shows that the broker is not intended to play against its traders.
