Code worked perfectly for my ford mondeo's Sony 6 CD system.
(You can get to the serial number without removing the head unit, just hold both the keys '1' +'6' down for 2-3 seconds and then the CD system cycles through various codes - the Serial Number is the last one - just take the final letter + 6 digits.)
