Ordered two J. Peterman Shirts, on sale. Received confirmation of order. Three weeks later, called to inquire about order. Representative said they were in stock, should've shipped, said he'd get the order sent the next day. A week later. No notice of shipping received. Made second phone call. Was told the order would go out "tomorrow" and phone went dead. Sent email requesting change from priority mail to regular delivery. One week later. Having had no response to email, called again. was told shirts were on back order with no known delivery date. In fact, there were none of these shirts in any color or any size in stock, even though they were still being advertised. Rep offered to cancel order. I requested an email stating the order was cancelled and showing my VISA had been credited with the amount, Was assured this would be done within several business days. Wrote a second email to customer service explaining the problem. Two weeks later. No email responses. No notice of crediting VISA. No nothing. I've ordered these shirts and other things from J Peterman for years without a problem. After this episode, however, I will not be ordering anything else.
