Buyer beware! Do not buy anything on sale. I have been ordering off and on from J. Peterman for years and their sizing has always been on point. Nonetheless, I checked their sizing chart for the party of the season dress and felt quite confident ordering a small 4 to 6. I was planning to wear it to a wedding. The dress labeled small that arrived does not match their own chart. It is easily an 8 or 10. Despite this being a quality control issue for this particular garment, management would not approve an exchange for the extra small since it was final sale. Now I am stuck with a dress that will cost me at least $100 to fix. Plus, I have to find another dress for the wedding. I understand the final sale policy but this item is defective. How much money did they save by not granting me this exchange? Shipping cost maybe. I probably would have had to pay the shipping. Congrats management because now you have lost a long term customer. Also note that most of their stuff, if not all, is made in China. I will no longer be looking at their catalog, website or purchasing anything again.
