I correctly ordered both Front driveshafts for our Automatic gear boxed Freelander 2. The shaft supplied for the left side was correct and fitted without problem. The shaft supplied for the right side was however wrong. I was asked to return the driveshaft for credit, which I did and I sourced another shaft locally. At the local supplier I was able to compare the Right driveshaft for the auto, next to the one for the manual. This confirmed my suspicions that the shaft supplied by J&R was in fact for a manual car, boxed and labelled as an auto. J&R dispute this and refuse to pay the shipping costs for returning the incorrectly supplied driveshaft. I would not recommend this company and now suspect that if the 3 year warranty was ever tested, this would prove to be impossible to claim on.
