I like how you sent the blacked-out rings with the inscription proofs-- as close to a sonogram the noble metals can emulate. Your personal notes through the process provided an accoucheur's warmth and sense of security. Although I had resoundingly annoying problems with DHL's dreadful clumsiness regarding the delivery- I had to call them time after time and actually had to sit in a lounge chair at the head of the street for two hours to hail the truck down after a two-day delay-- I choose not to remember that as any integral part of the process.
