I contacted JG Pest Control about 0730 in the morning as a wasps nest had got seriously out of control on our front porch. They were at my door by 1100 and the chap explained everything to me. He then carried out his work and within 20 minutes or so had left. We haven't had a wasp since!
It is only slightly more expensive than getting the local authority to do it but they take around 2 weeks to get to you so well worth the money.
