I would not have given them a 1 Star, but it looks like you have to click on something. Purchased 2 toasters that are not fit to be called 'A Toaster'. One was a DeLonghi and has a dangerous electrical problem in one slot. The other is a Grundig but the case has been removed and put back upside down! Neither has it been joined up so its lop- sided. Both are 'used' and had bits of toasted bread/crumbs inside and grease spots on the top. When I complained to John Pye I was informed that they could have been viewed - well I live about 100 miles away! They do not offer a refund policy but as far as I am concerned they should not have been sold!!! Certainly NOT fit for purpose! I think they should add Caveat Emptor to everything they sell - buyers be aware! Please take heed. Reading all these horror stories below - how can this be legal what they are doing - surely not?
