I have to say that I was extremely disappointed with the service on this order.
I placed my order on Saturday 21st December chosing next working day delivery before 9am to ensure that it did not affect my work - it did not arrive on Monday 23rd. I rang all numbers on your website, tried many options on the telephone menu and used the website contact form but in the end I had to complain via facebook to get an answer via email at approximately 11.10 explaining that the order was not due till tuesday - this is not clear enough on your website.
So, I then waited on Tuesday 24th dec morning and surprisingly it still did not arrive before 9am. I used the website contact form and emailed someone called sam a number of times, tried to call a number of times at one point letting the phone ring for twenty minutes with no answer. It then arrived at approximately 1300 via royalmail with before 9am written on the parcel and he did not have an answer for why this was the case.
I lost 7 hours through work due to this.
I completely understand that with the weather and it being christmas eve that my order would probably have been delayed however if the contact and customer service would have been to even a satisfactory level letting me know there would be problems I would have found this more acceptable. I never received any responses to the emails other than a standard return of the £10.95 that I paid for prompt delivery, after I emailed requesting this.
As a big company and one I have admittedly used before with no problems, I would expect you to be able to follow through on delivery promises or at the very least have basic levels of communication to explain to customers what is happening to their orders - by the looks of your review page and facebook page I am not the only one this has happened to.
I have received no apology, no reason why this has occurred and I don't imagine you're going to pay me back the 7 hours I lost through work.
