I bought a Links of London pen for a colleagues 50th birthday. The pen was lovely however I was hugely disappointed that it came in a plastic bag rather than a presentation box. The pen wasn't cheap and so I would have expected the presentation to reflect this. A friend received a far less expensive Cross pen as a gift with a very robust and good looking box so you can just imagine my surprise. I then had the task of finding and paying more to find a suitable box as I couldn't possibly give the pen as it was. They may not be supplied by Links of London, I do appreciate that but as a company, I would highly recommend you either supply for free or at least offer an option to purchase a box if the pen is a gift.
