Ordered Peroni Nastro Azurro 4 x 440ml and received little 330ml bottles x 4 instead. Delivery driver wasn’t interested and was out of there like a shot when I showed him and told me to call the store directly, which we all know isn’t how it works. So I raised the matter with just eat who sent an automated reply stating they were looking into a refund for my case. To which I replied, rather reasonably, with I don’t expect a complete refund, just the difference. I’ve had a response now and would you believe it, on this occasion they are not willing to refund me in any sense of the word. So some might say that’s robbery. I’m not sure of another industry that is allowed to take money for one thing which is more expensive and provide something completely different and cheaper without having to provide some form of compensation/remuneration. Apparently it’s written into their policy in my long back and forth, of which, when I ask for a copy of which covers this, the conversation has gone suspiciously quiet. Anyone else cool with having their money taken from them with no assurance or guarantee of receiving what you asked for? This isn’t going away out of principle.
