I purchased this furniture cover because it was advertised as rain proof. After one week of use (and only one day of rain) I lifted it off our timber outdoor table and was disappointed to discover that water had seeped through the seams and made areas of the tabletop very wet. I will now buy a plastic tablecloth to use as an in-between layer, otherwise the timber will eventually be ruined. The IKEA furniture cover I also use is a much better product.
