I would NOT recommend Karen Willis Holmes to anyone. It was the worst purchasing experience I have ever had. I bought a $3,000 dress in June, I was unable to confirm a fitting time at the time of purchase as I am a doctor and couldn't guarantee I was available in business hours (they only provide times in business hours), therefore I did not pay the fitting fee at this time. I called in October to confirm a fitting time and offered to pay the $800 to secure it. They assured me they could fit me in and there was no need to pay at that time. I just received a call to say that they will no longer accommodate me and that I should seek business elsewhere. Even though I have already paid a 50% deposit for my $3,000 dress. I have never felt so neglected by a business! Apparently, my dress has been ready and waiting for me FOR A MONTH and I have not been notified. I will be calling the ACCC, apparently, there are 250 brides in the same position as me. Do not spend $3000 on a dress that is essentially off the rack, as they will finish it and you will need to seek alterations elsewhere.
