Very nice meter and app. I have the original non Bluetooth model as well and the special price of this kit was only about $20 more than I would spend for 50 test strips (both ketone and glucose). The GKI is a nice addition although it's easy to figure out with the old meter using the formula. My only complaint is the difficulty in opening the individually sealed test strips. The way the tear is setup is perpendicular to the test strip making it a struggle getting the test strip out. It's also easy to accidentally touch the top of the strip that pulls in the blood possibly contaminating it. They should have a tear perforation that runs parallel to the strip or maybe include a small pair of scissors in the kit. Although I realize the individually sealed strips are probably more accurate and last longer, for me having arthritis... It's a struggle opening the strips each time. Overall 5 stars for the whole system and 5 stars for EXCELLENT customer service. I just have to deduct a star because of the difficulty opening the strips which is a big issue for me.
