I like the fact that I don't have to calculate my own GKI and that, like my last monitor, I can test both ketones and glucose with one meter, but I HATE the packaging for the new strips! The foil packets should be made so you can tear them from top to bottom. They are next to impossible to get open and half the time I wind up having to use scissors and hope I dont cut through the strip. That and the fact that I have to test with the control solutions every week - wasting more strips - is a pain. The old meter was so much less work. The ONLY reason I switched was because you discontinued the glucose strips. Now I wish I had kept my old one and just went back to using a separate glucose monitor. PLEASE do something about that strip packaging!
