We are sorry to hear that your readings are not as expected. We are happy to provide guidance to ensure you get the most accurate readings. We would love it if you could do a comprehensive control test. To do this test, please prepare five glucose strips or five ketone strips (or both) and gently shake the control before use (you do not want any air bubbles). Place a drop of the control onto one of the empty wrappers (be careful when disposing of this as it contains a dye color) and test back-to-back with the glucose strips. Calculate an average of those five tests (Add up the five tests and divide by five). It is natural to see a variation. Then, look at the base of the meter kit box and look at the range for the control solution - we aim to be in the middle of the range. If the meter is faulty, we will replace the meter under the warranty. If the meter is testing within range, then the meter is testing accurately. We will give you a gift card for the strips you will use, so you are not out of any money for performing this test.
