I really appreciate the price being lower than other test strips. Our difficulty comes from the fact that I think the test strips are less user friendly in that if you don't get the drop of blood in correctly the first time you're likely to get the error symbol and have a wasted strip. We've had this happen several times now when testing a squirmy 5 year hold who needs his ketones tested for medical purposes. We had this happen much less frequently with the Precision Xtra. My only other observation is that this meter seems to run a bit higher than Precision Xtra although it would be hard to know which is more accurate without lab comparisons
