Absolutely dreadful service, my kitchen was to be done on the 6th and 7th December, the courier arrived with the kitchen on the 6th expecting a fitter to be here (fitter never turned up), the courier unloaded what he could into my house because the counter top was too heavy to be lifted by one person and said he would return the following day when the fitter arrived. I checked with the Kitchen Wizard office to be assured that the fitter would have the work completed within a day. I specifically said that I didn't want a situation where somebody was still working in my house at 7p.m. on a Friday evening, and I was told that would never happen. A further phone call with Graham on the evening of the 6th assured us that the fitter would arrive at 8:30a.m. on the 7th. The courier arrived back with the counter top at 8:30a.m. on the 7th, but the fitter didn't turn up until 10:30a.m. The drawers (despite being measured previously by Tracy) were the wrong size, and there were also kitchen doors that were opening the wrong way. The fitter worked until 7:30pm and left the kitchen unfinished. There is no edge on one of the doors, the tap was loose, the pipe below the sink (where the dishwasher is plugged in) was left unearthed, and the trim wasn't applied to the cabinet frames. The next day (Saturday the 8th), the kitchen tap was loose, and there was a leak underneath the sink. I couldn't reach Tracy on her mobile, and when I eventually got through to Graham to complain he hung up on me. They did contact the fitter who arrived, re-earthed the pipe, stopped the leak but never tightened the tap. The following week Tracy called me to say that the fitter would be with me on Wednesday the 12th, (the fitter was to phone me in advance), but nobody arrived. Since then, despite numerous telephone calls, emails and text messages, the only contact we have had with Kitchen Wizard was when somebody I had never met called to my house last Saturday, dropped off the replacement doors and drawers and told me that the fitter would be here the next day. When I pointed out that the following day was Sunday, he asked would I be in and said the fitter would contact me Sunday morning. I haven't been contacted at all since then. I am now left with an unfinished door, doors that are incorrectly fitting, no trim on the cabinets, ill-fitted surrounds and cabinet bases that are loose. I also have a tap that swivels around and is about to fall off (above a cabinet that has an appliance plugged in below), and two cabinet doors and drawers sitting in my hall. Despite numerous emails, text messages and phone calls, I have received no communication at all from Kitchen Wizard. We paid promptly, didn't haggle over the price, and accepted the dates we were given by Kitchen Wizard for the fitting along with providing ample opportunity for Kitchen Wizard to rectify their shoddy work. It gives me absolutely no pleasure to post this review, but if it saves somebody else from the appalling customer service and sloppy workmanship, it will be worth it.
