I’ve had a terrible experience (again) with Kmart’s online store. I placed an order last Thursday and had 5 items cancelled and refunded, despite stock levels showing available. The items weren’t even sourced from my local store but shipped from one way out west – makes no sense logistically.
The packing was atrocious. A wooden kitchen spoon was taped to the outside of a clothes dryer box with cellotape – fully exposed instead of being packed properly. On top of that, they used a courier to deliver a single makeup sponge ($1) separately from another Kmart store up north. Total waste of time, money, and resources.
It’s disorganised, poorly managed, and not worth the hassle. Honestly, you’re better off going in-store and finding the items yourself. Really disappointed by the continued incompetence of their online service.
