“Kmart cancelled my order and blamed it on me, saying they cancelled it for me. Um I didn't cancel my order. Uncalled for especially this close to Xmas. Never shopping at a place that thrives on stupidity”
“Drove all the way to North Lakes as I had seen products online showing “in stock” …. Got there and the staff could see that there was stock but could not locate it anywhere!!!! Wasted a lot of my time on my one day off!!!!”
“kmart online used to be great but it is horrible now. Don't even think you can go into the store and ask for help, their reply is always "We cannot handle any online order issue, we do not have access, you have to contact the online order team yourself. The onlie Team:
1. the online chat is not handle by human, the AI is never ending loop, when you ask for live agent, you wait for over an hour still no one connected, then hours later, the live agent said Hi....., then said you are disconnected from the chat, saying you can contact the team again (which means you have to wait all over again), they end the conversation without looking at the information, the photos and issues that you already sent to them, never response to those. The phone number is another joke, I was on the phone for over an hour waiting for someone to answer, no one does. Just simply horrible, no customer service, no after sale help. 0 Star if there is a choice. 1 order split into 4 parcel across 4 days wait and I had to make myself available to sign for all these parcels that comes in 5 different days. In the past, you can find real human online to deal with issues, you can call and someone would answer within a reasonable time, NOW? HOPELESS.”
“Simple purchase, home delivery, 10 days on; chatbot can't help, 3 min wait predicted for human assistance, 30 mins later still no service, after an hour, I gave up.
Parcel tracking says it hasn't left a distant shop when several closer ones were available. I'll purchase a replacement locally. Never again. K-Mart has lost a 50 year customer today.”

“Order number 516314445 31/8/25. Two large boxes picked up from post office 05/09/25. Small order yet three items were missing from this order.Now I will have to pay $14.00 postage to reorder these three missing items. “Kmart microwave broke after 2 years. Took it back for refund, ALL staff at customer service, online and on the phone atrocious service, refusing refund ,treated like a criminal . They had the broken microwave but took them over 2 weeks to refund”
“Just went to purchase a hall stand. Went to get a trolley and all locked up. Staff member says $2 for trolley. He also says you can get a trolley from somewhere else. If you want people to purchase your products I suggest offer a trolley to carry their goods for free. I did walk out as I did not have cash on me.”
“I made a special trip to Kmart at Lismore Square this morning at 10am ,as I wanted to buy a backrest for my bed .I couldn't find any on the floor so I went to the service desk and the young girl looked it up and said we have them in stock room so she went to get me one .She came back 5mins later and said they were up to high for her to reach ,so I asked iff she could get someone else to get it for me and she said no the manager isn't here so we can't get it for you .I wasn't very impressed with the service I received as I had made a special trip to buy it .Very disappointed iff they were in stock why not have them on the floor to sell .😤😤😤 not happy Kmart .

“Chermside Kmart is located in the middle of a huge shopping centre. Anyway their trolleys are locked you need a $1 to use them. Who carries cash?? I’m a disabled woman and I use the trolleys to help me walk. I had to line up at self service checkout to withdraw $1 so I could do my shopping. The whole ordeal of getting a trolley took me 15 minutes. Will we be unpacking Kmart trucks soon too just like we checkout our own items?? Pathetic kmart”
“Just wanted to acknowledge wonderful service from Elizabeth ( Liz) at kmart Figtree Grove today . There were no bags of beans available for my bean bag that i was purchasing so she went out the back & delivered the 3 bags i required to the checkouts for me ❤️ i worked in retail & i know staff often would just say "oh we're waiting for a delivery " or "I'll have a look out the back " but just come straight back out having not bothered to look . “Purchased items online and paid for them, order was cancelled due to availability not being at 3 closest stores - what a joke, awful system no reason items can't be sourced at other locations.

“I’ve had a terrible experience (again) with Kmart’s online store. I placed an order last Thursday and had 5 items cancelled and refunded, despite stock levels showing available. The items weren’t even sourced from my local store but shipped from one way out west – makes no sense logistically.
The packing was atrocious. A wooden kitchen spoon was taped to the outside of a clothes dryer box with cellotape – fully exposed instead of being packed properly. On top of that, they used a courier to deliver a single makeup sponge ($1) separately from another Kmart store up north. Total waste of time, money, and resources.
It’s disorganised, poorly managed, and not worth the hassle. Honestly, you’re better off going in-store and finding the items yourself. Really disappointed by the continued incompetence of their online service.”
“They processed a systematic account closure, after having accepted my funds. for 8 month they just keep closing out support tickets. Cant get in contact with anyone from support, everything is done online no center to call. Really annoying that they took my money but thanks to bitclaim , i was able to get my money back with help of bitclaim . n e t.”
““Kmart’s rigid return policy ruined the joy of Christmas giving. Refusing to exchange wrong-sized clothing without a receipt just 3 days after Christmas is narrow-minded, mean-spirited, and poor customer service. Shoppers deserve clearer warnings before purchase to avoid this disappointment. Thankfully, well-respected retailers treat their customers better.””
