My order was canceled due to incorrect inventory, but the gift card I used as partial payment was not refunded. Since it was in my wallet, the gift card information disappeared once I placed the order. When I called customer service, they asked me for the gift card information and I told them it was gone. After 20 minutes, I was told it would take 24 hours to reinstate the balance. Shouldn't customer service know this without me having to spend 20 minutes on the phone. Kohl's used to be my favorite store. Now I absolutely hate it. Difficult returns even with a receipt and within return window, policy changes without informing customers, just bad store policies and untrained associates.
