Konditor makes really good quality and great-tasting cakes. Unfortunately it is hot or miss with freshness, and we've been disappointed more than once in the past. This time it was particularly obvious, the cake was dense and dry and definitely not freshly made - a real shame as we may now stop purchasing from them (even though their chocolate noisette is one of our all time favourites)
