As a parent of a preschooler and math educator who has worked across early childhood and elementary settings, it has been so wonderful to get connected to Kontu and its founder Patrick. We just received our first STEM kit and so far I am loving the design! There's something so satisfying about the feel of the wood and the magnets. My favorite design aspect is the flexibility- how it can be arranged and stacked in a variety of ways, not prescribing a single arrangement like most math toys out there- this is so important for cultivating curiosity and creativity while simultaneously supporting important math development. Can't wait to see what my child does with this!
