“Kontu blocks offer multiple opportunities for learning for little ones as they grow, engaging in early math concepts! These blocks can be arranged and stacked in a variety of ways, providing open-ended play while learning! My children especially love balancing the magnets as they build. These blocks stimulate creativity and curiosity as children build, learn, and explore!”

“I purchased this for my second grader who is having a little trouble learning math facts and concepts. Until we were unexpectedly homeschooling, I wasn’t fully aware of her struggles and wondered if Kontu was too simple to help her. I’m so glad I ordered the large kit! Kontu is the PERFECT visual and manipulative to help with understanding part/whole and learning math facts with better speed. I’ve quickly seen her understanding and enjoying math more now that we have visuals that interest her and make good sense of quantities. Memorizing just wasn’t cutting it! The little Magnetized biscuits are also just fun to fidget and play with. Thank you Kontu! Highly recommend this product.”

“Kontu blocks are a wonderful addition to our toys! The activities naturally lend themselves to rich conversations about parts and wholes, comparing numbers, and benchmark numbers. To top it off, these blocks are incredibly well made. They are a noticeably higher quality than most toys on the market. I know they will be part of our STEM activities for years to come.”

“We absolutely LOVE this product, it's brilliant and my two year old is fascinated by the magnectic force, stacking them and creating with them too. He is starting to count and show and understanding of number concepts and I know this is a product that will grow with him. He has played and explored these daily, they're just brilliant, I loved how eco friendly the packaging was, beautifully presented in the box, really quick delivery to the UK too. They're so open ended, lots of play and learning value we love Kontu and I'm sure you will to.”

“I purchased the 31 pieces Kontu Kit as a Xmas gift for my grandchildren (ages 1,2&3). They haven’t seen it yet but I have opened it to look at. The pieces inside have a nice, smooth appearance and clack when they join together .... which should appeal to the kids. I strongly believe young children need hands on activities that help to develop numeracy skills and Kontu was appealing. I like that it can be used at different levels of difficulty depending on child’a Age or ability. The blocks stack really well so even a 1 year old can use them to start learning how to count. I will also use them to introduce addition and subtraction concepts to my three year old granddaughter. The blocks will also be great for free play construction. I will update my review once the kids get the blocks to play with but at this stage I see this kit as a valuable addition to my toy library based on its versatility and quality and highly recommend it.”

“As a parent of a preschooler and math educator who has worked across early childhood and elementary settings, it has been so wonderful to get connected to Kontu and its founder Patrick. We just received our first STEM kit and so far I am loving the design! There's something so satisfying about the feel of the wood and the magnets. My favorite design aspect is the flexibility- how it can be arranged and stacked in a variety of ways, not prescribing a single arrangement like most math toys out there- this is so important for cultivating curiosity and creativity while simultaneously supporting important math development. Can't wait to see what my child does with this!”
