Needed the wheels on my leather suit carrier and a couple zips to be repaired. Couldn't find anywhere to get it fixed. Even the bags' manufacturer doesn't do repairs anymore! But the bag has been all around the world with me for many years and I didn't want to part with it. I spoke to Ajit, described the problems and was invited to drop the bag off. In days I was quoted a very reasonable price for the repairs and a couple days after that I picked the bag up, good as new. The fast turnaround was quite surprising, considering how busy the shop is. I am so thoroughly impressed by their "old school" notion of pride in the work they do, the ingenuity of repairing my carrier despite some parts being unavailable and the marvelously pleasant yet professional service I was afforded. Most of all, I was gratified by Ajit's belief that in this throwaway society which we now live, it's still worth repairing the things that we value; they're unbelievably good at it there and 5 stars just aren't enough. I recommend KPA very highly and will be returning to get some shoes done!
