Took my car for MOT and they failure the mot because the DPF was cat into 2 to be cleaned with dpf cleaner and jet wash , the DPF have a zigzag shape that is why it was split into 2 too be properly cleaned
Job was perfectly done, DPF became just like new
So what is the purpose of a DPF , it’s to catch smoke, so they could see what there was no smoke coming out of the exhaust that means that the DPF is there but they still failed the MOT
And they take far too long to do a mot like 1 hours , they are too slow and useless , won’t recommend to anyone
