I found a bargain price laptop on Laptops Direct and delayed ordering for a couple of days because I'd seen some negative reviews on the subject of delivery. However, I bit the bullet and paid an extra tenner for next day delivery and placed my order. Not only did the laptop arrive on the day I was told it would, I could use a webapp to watch the progress of the van making the delivery. I was given a two hour time slot, which is much more convenient than having to stay in all day, the laptop arrived 20 minutes before the end of the delivery window and I'm really pleased with both the laptop and the delivery service. I can't really write an accurate review of the laptop as I've just started using it and, because I use it for work, it will be some time before I can make a final judgement on it. It has quite a lot to live up to as my last laptop was still working well after being used daily for work for 7 years.
