“Paid for next day delivery. Delivery was DPD who didn’t bother trying to deliver twice on consecutive days, multiple calls to DPD and Laptops Direct that took ages to actually speak to anyone, just to be told they will try to re-deliver again. Office was open and staff in to receive the delivery on both so called ‘sorry we missed you’ attempts. Problems happen and people make mistakes, but it’s how you handle the issue that counts to me, and this wasn’t handled well.”

“I've ordered several things from the group over the years and have never had an issue. Delivery is also prompt and the items have arrived in perfect condition. The only point worth considering is discreet packaging, my latest purchase was a rather expensive monitor that was delivered with the outside of the box fully advertising what was inside.”

“I purchased a new laptop on the Sunday evening. It arrived the next day. Only paid for standard delivery. Laptop arrived and i had to provide a code which was emailed to me. A bit of comfort knowing the courier couldnt leave it on the step. Always a good experience with goods delivered by DPD.”

“AVOIDTHIS COMPANY............................................................................................... I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had while trading in my laptop with your company. Initially, I was quoted £75 for my laptop, which was in very good condition. However, after I sent it for trade-in, I was informed that the offer had drastically dropped to just £25. I promptly declined this offer and requested that my laptop be returned to me. Unfortunately, my decision was not respected; instead, the company scrapped my laptop without my confirmation. Following this incident, I sent several emails inquiring about the return of my laptop. In response, I was told that I had accepted the £25 offer, leading to the issuance of a £25 voucher as compensation. This was not the resolution I expected, and I feel I have lost my valuable laptop unfairly. I strongly advise others to avoid purchasing from any of the Buy It Direct stores. My experience has shown that their customer service is unhelpful, and their practices are downright ridiculous. If there had been an option to give a rating with NO stars, I would have done so without hesitation. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.”

“Bought a refurb Thinkpad about 18 months ago, so decided to repeat the purchase. This time around, the Thinkpad had a fault, so I returned it and upgraded to a refurb Dell. There was some delay due to the festive season + three working days for laptops Direct to look at the Thinkpad before authorising the upgrade. Ok Experience this time around. Would use Laptops Direct again, as I feel they are more reliable than third party sellers on the Amazon Platform.”

“I always check Laptops Direct first if buying computer tech. They have a wide range at very competitive prices. Plus their refurbishment kit is outstanding value for money. I've never been disappointed. Customer service is good and delivery super quick. What's not to like?”
