“Ordered a laptop for my sister as she needed something newer. I looked for pre loved condition, as she wants it to look nearly new. Ordered, delivered and arrived, EXCELLENT not problem. Laptop looks nearly new, very good. Setup , grrrrr ! HP have support software that has an out of date callup for "WMIC" ??? Which windows 11 H25H2 doesn't use any more. Took all afternoon trying to get the software to stop restarting the laptop looking for drivers and support software, stuck in a loop. Gave up in the end and did a fresh reinstall of windows 11 getting rid of HP software completely ( as even deleting hadn't stopped the restarting call loop). So luckily I was getting this ready for my sister or it would have needed a return ! Screen good , keyboard good, as advertised good , battery life a bit disappointing ( only 70% life left ) , not terrible for the price and excellent condition of everything else, but i will fit her a brand new battery for thirty five quid and she'll have an i7 fast new looking laptop for just four hundred pounds . Not bad at all . I would recommend laptops direct , IF they sort out proprietary manufacturers software before shipping used laptops. HP software is good when it works , but when it doesn't , its a pain.”

“Having had a number of previous delayed orders, I tried you again only to face another delayed order, which this time arrived with no operating system present. Now I have been told to expect a call in 24 hours to resolve ... not useful as the PC is required for a project on Wednesday ... it was ordered the previous Wednesday ... I don't think allowing a week for order/delivery is asking much. So we've ordered from an alternative supplier and will continue to do so.”

“Laptops direct has a great collection of high quality tech at amazing prices. The Lenovo laptop I bought was 400£ cheaper than original price. Only problem was with the DPD delivery. The box arrived quite badly damaged. Please make sure that your carriers don’t ruin a great experience for your customers”

“Awful customer service - I made a mistake during ordering and I emailed within 4 minutes of placing the order. It took them hours to reply by which time they said they couldn't change the delivery address (even after several emails going around in circles). Fine - I then went to work on Saturday to collect the item, only to get there and the courier then changes the delivery to Monday (even though I paid extra for a Saturday delivery) now they are even refunding the extra delivery cost. I really hope I don't have a problem with the PC given how poor the customer service has already been. I would shop elsewhere in future.”

“The UPS sent by LaptopnDirect was failing (defective battery pack, capable of accepting a charge but unable to deliver current under load) ... After I contacted LaptopDirect, they simply delayed processing of the refund while they were investigating with the OEM. Net result. After more than a month, the unit is still not repaired, and I still haven't been refunded. This is absolutely unacceptable and in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (and the 30-day period!). I would not recommend dealing with Laptopdirect at all, they clearly wash their hands as soon as a problem materialises and just pass it onto the OEM like a simple warranty claim! Utterly unacceptable.”

“Not received so how can it be reviewed we have an issue with a screen on a separate order that the case that you requested photos for why I don’t know as it won’t switch on has been closed we were asked late Friday closed Monday morning these screens that we ordered have not been delivered but try is is a common occurrence with app”

“Delivered on time as stated. Only complaint is that there is no way to contact the delivery man so we had to wait in all day (I am part-time working from home) and if it wasn't for my ultra alert dog we'd have missed him he was so quieet!”
