Ordered new phone and was told it would be delivered on Tuesday, so kept that day free. Then on the morning of delivery they tell me it won't be delivered - so a wasted day off and then not available for the new delivery date so had to rearrange my days due to their error. Still waiting for phone to arrive

Quality varies a lot I got a few things that were good. But then I had my biggest purchase, a nice laptop. It was faulty. I didn't use the item at first and when I finally did the motherboard broke. Warranty on refurbished items is 3 months so no replacement or return. It wasn't refurbished and shouldn't have passed QA. Support said they couldn't help me. So careful what you buy, it's a bit of a lottery.

Laptop that I bought was wrongly advertised. Was advertised as having a backlit keyboard which was one of the reasons I purchased it. Upon receiving it it had no backlit keyboard. Annoying the website does not have the correct information listed for their items. Laptopsdirect we’re good apart from that, delivery was prompt

I was told delivery would be on the Saturday i am still awaiting delivery at 5-30pm on the Monday, so can't comment on the product.--My past dealings with the company have been OK

Hmm, received a Review Request 7 days after ordering (on next day delivery btw), fair enough; except that the item still hasn't arrived! Laptops Direct should really not send out review requests until customers have received their order, cannot possibly be a positive review otherwise.

1. They didnt match the offer i received on Amazon although they claim they will match it! 2. I still went ahead and ordered with them due to my past orders with them. This time though screen was slight damaged as received on delivery. It works fine but there is a dent in the plastic!

Next day delivery was offered and paid for. The item was not delivered the next day. A refund for the postage was recieved but its not the point. This service shouldn't be offered if it can't be achieved.

You twice put back the delivery date, the second time to a date when I did not expect to be at home; I then asked you to deliver on a specific later date and you agreed but went ahead and delivered without notice on the date when I did not expect to be here (luckily I was).

Despite stating on your website that the iPad was in stock you took my online order and didn’t tell me for a week that it wasn’t available! Not happy.

It was nearly great. I ordered a laptop at 21:55 on a Friday, for delivery the next day. I immediately got an email saying unfortunately there'd been a warehouse problem and they couldn't ship it that day. I replied cancelling, there was no reply but next thing there was an email from DPD saying they had it, and indeed by 10:00 the next day here it was. So Laptopsdirect had just tried to dodge the cost of the Saturday delivery, while keeping the order. Then there were a couple of sketchy follow-up emails trying to lure me into bad deals. So it was actually a fantastic service, but spoiled by poor ethics.

Poor response to requests for information after placing orders. No response to emails sent to our account manager so keep asking for call backs via customer service who can't, for reasons unknown, inform us of an orders status so refer us to our account manager who's lack of communication is the issue in the first instance!!!.

One of the most fundamental things in sales is the sales receipt - and they didn't even email a copy. One of my friends had the same issue and had a runaround when needing to return a faulty item. They need to sort that out.

The price of 'next day delivery is 9.99 which is ridiculous, considering the courier still haven't delivered and are quoting the 4th of May. I orderes on the 30th March. Could have gone to ccl and got the product cheaper with actual next day delivery for 6.49 Glad I didnt order my gpu from them and wont ever return unless they refund the delivery cost.

Poor customer service. Refurbished laptop stated as grade A1 (as new) however arrived with a deep scratch on the screen lid. Could have been done during shipping as packaging was poorly done. Tried to contact Laptops Direct customer service to check condition but had no response. Laptop functions perfectly so no problem, just the buying process was unsatisfactory.

Have tried to phone them for 2 days hung on for the first day for 45 minutes no reply just loud music l have paid for my item £84 and l want to just ask a simple question about my delivery of a phone to Argos. I feel very disapointed and would not recommend your company.

The Good: The new laptop is brilliant, it arrived earlier than expected and they gave me £97 for my old laptop. The Bad: Communication is shockingly bad and they charge 13p minute for customer service calls which never got through to an agent. There is no live chat and they only actually answered one of my 4 e-message attempts.The laptop I exchanged ‘disappeared’, which I chased and a voucher was subsequently generated, no associated comms. Applying the voucher, as there was no online facility to apply it, I had to call them and they promised to sort it... they didn’t! Another later e-message saw the £97 appear in my account.... again no comms! I e-messaged them again to obtain an invoice showing the exchange amount.... still nothing. Nothing is more frustrating than bad communication. At least I have my new laptop with which I am very pleased.
