Not overly impressed. My first email said my order would be delivered on the 24th. Then another saying 26th. When it didn't arrive on the 26th, their chat session said 27th. At least ordering from Amazon would guarantee the product was with me when they say. Seems one of those places where they promise the moon but give you a burnt out star but heck, as long as they have your money, they'll tell you what you need to hear. Laptops Direct, just be honest about delivery times and where the items are being shipped from. Very poor so far and doubtful I'd use again due to this issue.

I did not even receive the item yet, and I have been asked for review. I can only say that the amount of trash emails received from this company is horrendous, they also were trying to reach me by phone. Overall experience, not so good though. Hopefully the monitor will be delivered soon 🙏

Be extremly cautious if you order an expensive laptop and need to return your order to Laptop direct. I returned my laptop on 9th Jan 2024 with the return label issued by Laptop Direct, but now I'm told the laptop was returned to their old site so they cannot process my refund. I will have to get the laptop back and deliver it to the new site. I followed all the official instructions from Lapdirect in my text message and email, but after 3 weeks of constantly chasing-up with the customer service team, I now had no refund and no longer the order. The customer service team has been given all the return delivery labels I got in my email, the text message instructions and all related emails but they still refused to help (agent MARY DEMETERA). I had no choice but had to contact my bank to do a charge back.

Posted a £3500 laptop in only its orignal box wrapped in a plastic bag!! Fast delivery but come on your supposed to be specialists, a plastic bag! No box or special pagaging?! Lets see on Christmas day if it works, fingers crossed! I am downgrading my review to only one star now as after opening the damaged box I am not happy with the condition, this is an EXPENSIVE item, to only put it in a plastic bag is ridiculous! This company is supposed to be a laptop specialist! I contact their returns department and was put on hold for 15 mins at 0.13p per min then cut off!!! This is a disgusting company who do not care one bit about customer services, they take your money and laugh at you! AVOID AT ALL COSTS, GO TO A PROFESSIONAL SELLER!

Zero stars if I could. Worst customer service I have ever received! Bought a "refurbished" laptop that had fans the sounded like jet engines when just browsing with chrome. After first restart it corrupted windows and never booted again. I returned immediately. They received the return over two weeks ago now and still no refund. Customer service are worse than useless and can't tell me anything other than "it's waiting to be checked". If it takes this long then you need to hire more staff. Completely useless. Would never use them or any of their other companies under the buy it direct Ltd banner. Do yourself a favour and but from someone else and STAY AWAY from the useless company.

A horrible experience. I ordered an iMac which was showing as available for next day delivery. This was for my daughter’s birthday on 29 October. I booked delivery for 6 October. On 5 October, a few days after purchase, I was contacted to be told the price had gone up and I needed to pay an additional £75. This made the item slightly more expensive then I could get on the high street and I found it a little weird to have someone change the price after order, but they confirmed delivery could be made the next day so I went ahead. I duly received an email to say the item was on its way. Mid morning on the day of delivery, however, I was informed that delivery had been delayed by 10 days. As you can imagine, having waited at home on the basis of their verbal and email confirmations of despatch, I was not particularly pleased. I phoned them and they explained it was a problem with their supplier. Move forward to the next delivery date, on 15th I was getting concerned that I’d not heard from them, I didn’t want to be hanging around again so I phoned to check. I was told not to worry and that a despatch notice would be received that evening, no later than 2100. I didn’t receive anything so I phoned first thing on 16th, and was told the item was with the courier, and to expect a call within 2 hours to confirm delivery. You guessed it, no contact was made so I phoned again. This time it was confirmed again that the item was on route but someone was checking the location with the courier and I’d get a call that afternoon. Imagine my surprise to then get an email telling me delivery had been delayed again until 30 October. Clearly the original despatch note and promises the item was with the courier were… err… porkies. I phoned again and after what I’d describe as a frustrating 15 minutes getting no answers I asked to cancel my order. I was told that would be processed and a refund made within 24 hours. Here we go again, that’s right, no refund received. My last call was at lunchtime today when I was told to expect a cancellation notice this afternoon… no surprise that I’ve not heard a stitch from them. I ordered a replacement from Argos, which with a discount code was cheaper and in my car 24 hours later. I’ve put the transaction into dispute. My advice is don’t be like me, don’t chase a deal with laptops direct, hunt around for a discount with a trustworthy supplier and save yourselves the pain. It’s genuinely not worth the hassle.

Ordered HP refurbished laptop. Worked fine except for the in-built camera which wasn't working. Went back and forth with tech support for days - they were not at all helpful, suggested things I had already informed them I had done. I finally spoke to their tech support on the phone. Went through everything again and was informed they had to arrange for the laptop to be collected so they could check it - they said it had not been checked before it was sold to me... when I questioned the sale of a refurbished laptop not being checked, they backtracked and said it had!!! After checking they would repair it or issue a refund, but the checking part would take 7-10 days. I would not be able to get a refund or a replacement until after the 7-10 days. Escalated the matter. Had another phone call and was told the exact same thing again. Very unhelpful, very unsympathetic. Steer well clear!!!

🔔 URGENT WARNING: Beware of Samsung UK and Laptops Direct 🔔 Sharing my nightmare experience with Samsung UK and Laptops Direct to save you from a similar ordeal. 😡 Read on and spread the word to protect others! In January 2023, I invested a substantial £1290 with Laptops Direct for a Samsung TV. Just five months later, the TV started acting up – malfunctions and irregularities galore, making it utterly unusable. Upon inspection, it was clear that the screen was damaged beneath the glass, a blatant manufacturing defect. My pleas for assistance from Laptops Direct were met with shocking indifference and apathy. They shrugged off their responsibility, citing a measly three-month warranty and passing the buck to both me and Samsung. This heartless evasion reflects a disregard for customer satisfaction and product quality that's simply unforgivable. After enduring a convoluted process, an engineer was finally dispatched to replace the faulty screen. But guess what? The other problems were ignored, then after that the tv started playing up again and the engineers were called back and took the tv away for two weeks and then brought it back and told me there is nothing wrong with it .So the TV came back to me unchanged. I contacted laptops direct again and was told there was no point ring them and get in touch with Samsung. Turning to Samsung UK for help, I was met with more disappointment. They insisted on further repairs despite my concerns about the product's integrity and post-warranty problems. Their suggestion of a 10% discount on a replacement TV was an insulting slap in the face – evidence of their lack of respect for customers' investments. I don’t think buying another tv after it lasting for 5 months for 10 percent off going to appeal to anyone. And also why would I be without a TV for 2 weeks and have loads of emails and sending photos etc if the TV is fine, Surely nobody can be that bored!!!... I didn’t want my money back I wanted to replacement!... the same model or equivalent I Have now given up and will buy another TV. This is just a warning because I thought by using laptops direct I would save money rather then using larger companies but that 100 pound I saved has now cost me far more.. Updated response... Just had a phone call from Laptop direct and they once again laid the blame with samsung and want nothing to do with my claim. so new tv today for me. having to the use of a faulty tv for 5 months for a cost of nearly £1300 doesn't sound like a bargain thou..... Pennywise pound foolish. I have taken the hit now but will continue to make sure I warn as many people over social

I would avoid if you want a Saturday delivery. Ordered a phone one week in advance for a Saturday delivery. Had an email to say thr item was dispatched on Friday but no tracking information was provided. Waited in all day Saturday for the item and it failed to arrive. Sent a message asking for an explanation to he told I would have to wait 24 to 48 hours for it to be investigated, still no idea where my new phone is!!!

Good price but truly appalling customer service - avoid. Ordered a Microsoft Surface 7 on line for next day delivery. Called the sales line to confirm next day delivery. Item didn't arrive next day nor 5 days later. Was told it wouldn't arrive until the end of the month and that I should cancel that order and re-order for next day delivery. Only they didn't cancel the order - it still didn't arrive next day but eventually two turned up. I am now left £700 out of pocket with a device I don't need and that they have refused to take back. Hours of my life trying to sort this out completely wasted.

Paid extra specifically for delivery on 30/05/23, as I was on holiday the days before. I opened my emails to discover the carrier had attempted to deliver twice whilst I was away. I then had to waste time chasing to rearrange for the day I had requested initially. What is the point in having a specific date delivery service if you are just going to send it any day? Not to mention this is a service you pay extra for. I'll take my custom elsewhere next time.

Three months ago, a couple of days after recieving my laptop, I gave a 5-star review based on the ease of purchase and prompt delivery. Sadly, the laptop rapidly deteriorated in performance. It is now slow, buggy and, frankly, not much use. Also, because of the way it was set up, I'm stuck with the username "User". I won't buy from Laptops Direct again. I'll be replacing the one I bought withn a new one. I should have saved my money and done that in tghe first place.

Delivery was Ok. However computer developed a minor fault (2 keys not working) and we sent it back for the 'ucover' service (laptops directs own warrantee service) to repair - has currently taken over six weeks and despite numerous calls to them (we have had no outward communication from them) we are still waiting on a part with no expected date for the repair to be completed and no efforts by them to sort things out - far from idea given this is a child's school computer and mid GCSEs. Dont use this 'service'. I do not recommend them.

6 days after their Provided Warranty contact number did not work I have had a string of emails from different people in the company, not one of which read the email in entirety from their replies. I have had a return opened and closed when the issue was never a return. Emailed to ask what was happening got no reply to that. Then got asked to provide pictures which I did following thier instructions, got further emails saying I had not emailed the pictures yet, which had they scrolled down was not the instructions given. Questions from me in the email were totally ignored. Then given a reason that warranty does not cover the issue using terminology and wording that is not in the documentation and to take it to a laptop repair shop as though I needed that bit of information. Staff cannot read their own emails let don't my replies so chances that anyone competent in the process (none of which I've spoken to) during the past week has any idea what the warranty documents say or cover is highly unlikely. My best part is Jayson when asked for complaints process... Did not provide this, nor address any other parts of any email really. But top from him is to take a laptop that needs repairs to a laptop repair shop. Also no idea who the case manager that would get back to me in 24 hours, 6 days ago is.

Price excellent, delivery on original purchase also excellent…however, the laptop went wrong no worries I thought I’d taking out a extended cover as this was a 2021 Christmas present for my husband. Trying to get in contact with customer service and speaking to the same operator wasn’t impossible having to repeat the problem over and over again. This was finally overcome and the laptop was collected and sent for “repair” after being away for nearly 4 weeks after much chasing up it finally was returned…….but 4 weeks later the same problem occurred. I replied to the standard email from laptopdirect asking of my experience about the company. It was a good or bad question and a field where if the problem still arose you could summit that. Over 3 weeks later still no correspondence from them. I have a laptop that it unfit for purpose and a company that has ignored me…….please don’t purchase from them.

Awful experience all round, at least for the refurbished stuff. Really disappointing as they came highly recommended. My first order never even got sent out due to it apparently being too damaged. Why list it on your website and take payment in the first place if this is the case? I decided to give Laptops Direct a second chance, unfortunately however the second device is showing clear problems with the CPU, even though they advertised the PC as A1 status or like new. Due to all this, my work has been affected and I have spent a good amount of time dealing with customer service, all of which hasn't even resulted in any sort of offers or a future discount to make the problem right. Stay clear of the refurbished stuff.

I ordered a Synology NAS and Ironwolf Drives as showing dispatch same day and delivery the following day. However order confirmation stated 3 day delivery. A bit disappointing but I could live with that. After 3 days I check my order to find not dispatched yet! I send a query and am told it will come in a further 2 days. That then passed and still no delivery so I cancel the order and order elsewhere for next day delivery which was honoured. Still awaiting refund!

I needed a laptop for using in hospital. I informed LD that I would likely be moving to another hospital so paid for next day delivery. Next day all I received was a poorly written excuse and a offer to reschedule. I chose to cancel the order, now I am waiting for a refund with no clue when I will get my money back. No laptop and a bitter taste. I would not recommend this company.
